By becoming a client of a Centre affiliated with the Australian Council of Natural Family Planning you will receive a comprehensive and well supported service.
You will receive a package of information that has been developed to help answer your questions about fertility and natural family planning (NFP)
The resources include text and illustrations designed to help teach you how to use natural family planning and understand your fertility. They are provided as a supplement to personal instruction with your Accredited NFP Educator.
Even if you do not live close to an affiliated Centre, becoming a client is available via your nearest Centre using email/phone/online support etc with your nearest Accredited Natural Family Planning Educator.
Each Centre provides an Initial Instruction and then ongoing follow up. The fee and length of registration are determined by each ACNFP affiliated Centre.
Your Initial Instruction in the Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP will cover:
- Couple fertility
- Indicators of fertility
- How to chart our signs of fertility and
- A thorough understanding of the Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP
Your Accredited Natural Family Planning Educator will be able to answer any questions you may have and are there to provide you with support as you begin using NFP. Most couples find that it takes a at least three to six menstrual cycles to feel completely comfortable with the method and your educator is there to assist you through this phase. If at any time you feel that you need support, you can simply contact your Educator and they will assist you with your questions.
The Australian Council of Natural Family Planning accredits educators with the aim to provide couples with the best care possible; enabling you to take control of your fertility.
