Empowering Women

For women who live in harmony with their true nature

Whilst women’s rights and women’s issues are at the fore in our society, the mystery of womanhood remains. Unlike men, women’s sexuality and fertility are cyclical. As a girl passes into womanhood, her sexual and reproductive future will be one of unknown wonders as she navigates through possible subfertility, pregnancies, breastfeeding, until reaching the end of fertility in her middle years with menopause. Every woman is unique, and her experience of her life-stages will differ to that of others. Nevertheless, every woman has the right to know the truth about her body. NFP fosters this self-knowledge. It can be used by all fertile women, sexually active or not, as a self-care process for monitoring health. By learning about her fertility through Natural Family Planning a woman can become fertility aware and actively monitor her reproductive and gynaecological health. Such knowledge can empower women to take charge of themselves and their decisions.
